HG Gundam The Origin kits are 1/144 models from the 2015 anime that retells the years before the One Year War, based on Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's manga.
This page lists every retail HG The Origin kit, including the MSD (Mobile Suit Discovery) designs, newest first. Premium Bandai and Gundam Base exclusives are not included.
Release dates are for Japan; US stock usually follows a few weeks later. Upcoming kits are also on the release tracker.
How the HG The Origin line grew
The line started in 2015 with Char's Zaku II, alongside the first Origin episode. Kits followed the early Zaku, Gouf and Dom prototypes and the first Federation mobile suits from the anime.
From 2018 the MSD sub-series added Federation designs such as the Gundam FSD, and the line closed in 2020 with the RX-78-02 Gundam.
